Toada returns with a contemplative and immersive slow-paced EP.

Valdir da Silva, the Portuguese producer also known for his artistic moniker Toada (pronounced [ˈtwadɐ]), is back with a sincere and introspective EP titled “Slow-Paced Tangents”.

The EP, comprised of six lush and organic tracks, showcases Toada's musical prowess through heartwarming synth sounds and simultaneously groovy transient drums.

While “Slow-Paced Tangents” incorporates contemporary music production aesthetics, its genesis is rooted in the sonic landscapes of the late ’90s and early to mid ’00s. Drawing inspiration from the slower tempos of downtempo, electronica, hip-hop and dubstep beats of that era, Toada has crafted an EP that pays homage to these timeless influences while infusing a modern sonic identity.

This release invites listeners to embark on a musical journey where time seems to slow down, allowing for moments of contemplation and immersion. Each track within the EP is a sonic tapestry carefully woven, providing a unique opportunity to escape the fast-paced rhythms of everyday life.

Toada's signature sound shines through “Slow-Paced Tangents”, as he instinctively blends vintage elements with contemporary production techniques. The result is a collection of tracks that exude nostalgia while remaining refreshingly innovative.
